Chef tells Ramsay to get out

Nov 8 2006

A CHEF has told how he slung foul-mouthed Gordon Ramsay out of his restaurant because he needed the table.

The celebrity replied in disbelief: "F**k me, I've never been chucked out of a restaurant before", according to the Mirror.

But he returned next day and told Nick Anderson: "You were spot on."

The TV chef's surprise visit came after he filmed an episode of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares at Mr Anderson's restaurant, now called Maggie's, at King's Lynn, Norfolk.

Mr Anderson said he had wept earlier after fiery Ramsay's forthright criticisms. But he added: "He was absolutely right."

Then on September 30 Ramsay turned up again with a crew.Mr Anderson found a table but had to kick him out when a pre-booked party arrived.

Ramsay said: "He was a big fish in a little pond with horrible food. But I went back and he was honest. Then we fell out again. The sad thing is he modelled himself on me."
