In November, Fox will invite viewers to cook dinner along with the acerbic “Hell’s Kitchen” host Gordon Ramsay.

The one-time special, “Gordon Ramsay’s Cook Along Live,” is based on a British format.

“The concept is simple,” said Kevin Reilly, the president of Fox Entertainment. “We let you know the ingredients and products” in advance. “And then you cook along with Gordon.”

Mr. Reilly called “Cook Along Live” a “great integration and partnership opportunity.” Maybe viewers will be instructed to buy Kraft-brand cheese or Pam cooking spray.
