He may be known as the Mick Jagger of the kitchen, but rock-star chef Gordon Ramsay's company isn't taking any chances when he returns to Australia as the headline act of Sydney and Melbourne's Good Food and Wine shows in June and July.

Hush can reveal that randy Ramsay will be bringing a bodyguard - in the form of his wife, Tana.

This will be the mother of four's first time in Australia, and no doubt she'll be on alert for native predators of both the two- and four-legged kind.

After a series of adultery scandals threatened to topple the couple's marriage - and their global empire of 25 restaurants and pubs - the Ramsay brand is presenting a united front.

Ramsay's image as a devoted family man was battered last year when professional London mistress Sarah Symonds sold her story about a seven-year affair with the chef to a British tabloid.
Sydney bombshell Julie Vidovic added to the swarm of allegations when she came out with her own sordid chapter about a 48-hour romp with Ramsay in the Hilton Hotel while he was visiting Sydney for last year's food fest.

"It's probably smart to bring his wife with him,'' a Sydney publicist told Hush. ``She has a profile, and it's part of Brand Ramsay.''

Celebrity agent Max Markson, who brokered Vidovic's interview deals, said: "There has been no legal retort, and no legal ramifications for Julie Vidovic or Sarah Symonds.

What neither vixen had anticipated was how tightly controlled this wild boy is outside the bedroom.
His father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, runs the business arm of the family empire, which generates almost 100 million ($A210 million) a year.

Brand Ramsay has propelled the reckless 42-year-old into Britain's richest chef with a personal wealth of more than 60 million ($A125 million).

Aspiring femmes fatales will be disappointed to hear the Ramsays already have a full itinerary locked in for their Australian visit.

In between the bombastic Brit's show commitments, the couple will be heading up north for a tropical holiday.

When contacted by Hush about their impending family visit, Gordy and Tana's London publicist said: "I hope you understand but this is personal information which we are not willing to release,''
