http://www.hardens.com/articles/article_details.php?type=blog&id=625Foxtrot Oscar SW3 – in recent times possibly the most cliquey of London restaurant – is to re-open later this month under the Gordon Ramsay banner.
FO used to be mainly notable for its clientèle largely consisting of local roués, many of whom had known Old Etonian boss Andrew Proudlock since school. Last year, Proudlock sold out to Gordon Ramsay, whose flagship restaurant is a few doors away. (It was perhaps fated: Ramsay had long been a Foxtrot Oscar regular, and ‘Foxtrot’ is a euphemism for the word which he has made his trademark.)
One can only imagine how the old guard of customers – if they can bear to be present – will welcome the rabble whose Ramsay’s celebrity will doubtless henceforth attract.
