Things aren't getting any better for Gordon Ramsay, last week we heard that Mark Sargeant, has left his position of chef de cuisine at Claridge's, and now his New York eaterie has been slammed by US health inpectors for breaking 24 health regulations.

The report in tabloid newspaper, the News of the World, claims the inspectors found contaminated food and dirty worktops at the troubled cook's posh New York eaterie, Gordon Ramsay at The London.

A spokesman for Gordon Ramsay Holdings said: "The restaurant clearly fell below the high standards the company expects and moves have been taken to ensure it does not happen again."

Maybe Gordon needs to appear in his own show Kitchen Nightmares...
