Gordon Ramsay has revealed how his heroin addict younger brother threatened to kill him and his family.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, the foul-mouthed TV chef says Ronnie Ramsay, now in jail in Indonesia on drugs charges, turned on him when Gordon refused to give him £6,000 to hire a lawyer.
Gordon, who lives in Wandsworth, once bought heroin for Ronnie to help him get through their father's funeral ten years ago and has spent hundreds of thousands of pounds trying to help his brother get off the drug.
He said: "Of course Ronnie wanted money.
"He's tried everything. Death threats. Calls at midnight from various horrible people saying they know what time my kids leave school.
"Things like that, which you just shouldn't have to have in your life."
But Gordon insists he no longer speaks to Ronnie, saying: "All I feel now is relief that I've made this decision to end all contact.
"Relief that this hideous weight I've carried around for all these years is off my shoulders."
