THE snappy arrival of Gordon Ramsay at Blackpool Zoo has cooked up a bit of a storm.

Staff at the zoo got a big surprise when a baby caiman, named after the Hell's Kitchen star, appeared out of nowhere.
They thought the two 10-year-old reptiles were both girls... until keepers noticed them building a huge nest mound in their Amazonian enclosure.
The eggs were checked but proved to be infertile so it was thought that breeding was unlikely until the tiny baby caiman was spotted peeping at the keepers through the enclosure window at morning feeding time.
Spokesman for the zoo, Jude Rothwell, said: "The yacare caiman, a South American member of the crocodile family, is a notoriously difficult animal to identify as male or female.
"It was thought Gordon Ramsey was appropriate for something which snaps at everyone! The real Gordon Ramsay would be welcome anytime to meet his namesake!"
The eight inch youngster was removed into a special care tank in the feeding kitchen where it is doing remarkably well.
Section Head, Ann Williams, who looks after the feisty youngster, said: "The baby is constantly hungry and snaps his tiny jaws at anyone passing in the hope of being fed! He eats small pieces of fish, locusts and baby mice three times a day, but it would eat constantly if given the chance!
"Caiman are not endangered, although they are hunted in the wild for their skins for bags and shoes. They normally live between 25 and 40 years. In the wild they eat tadpoles and small mammals which they catch by sensing vibrations in the water."
