sold in his London restaurants is mass produced and often cooked OFF SITE.
This will come as an enormous embarrassment to the chef who advocates that every good restaurant should only sell fresh food produce. (If you’ve ever watched the ‘F Word’ or ‘Gordon’s Kitchen Nightmares’ you’d have seen Gordy tear apart anyone who dears to mass produce anything!)
A reporter working for British newspaper - The Sun went undercover at Gordy’s eaterie in Chelsea, London where he discovered that up to half of the food served in the restaurant was delivered by van from a backstreet kitchen! oh dear Gordon, hang your head in shame…
The reporter also discovered that THREE other gastropods owned by the famous chef served up mass produced food selling it at extortionate prices including fishcakes that cost £1.92 being sold for a whopping £11.25! What the hell?… go down your local chippie, cost you a fraction of the price!
An undercover reporter posing as a potential client spoke to the head chef at the factory who makes alot of the food that Gordies uses:
“We provide the majority of food for Foxtrot Oscar- everything from Coq au vin, starters, terrins, snacks, salmon rillettes, various desserts
, braised beef in red wine, beef pie mixes. Anything that takes a long time to cook, any braised items or items in sauces- we do all of that.”
The revelation will come as a fresh blow to the star whose been caught up in a number of scandals and speculations of late; including rumours of affairs, money troubles and now this! Gordy go back to your roots and stop cutting corners. We’ll love you more for it!
