Would You like Some Expletives with that Order?
Hell's Kitchen Chef Gordon Ramsay - frequently spelled incorrectly as Chef Ramsey - is famed for his French and Italian cuisine prowess and feared for his acerbic tongue that seems to frequently wrap itself around a stream of expletives.

Showcasing Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen as the cooking show from Hades was made easy in 2004. The Scotsman reported that he got physical with an American contestant on his show's set. When the contender went sprawling on the floor, he went crawling to a hospital and from there bawling to the cops. Hell's Kitchen boss Ramsay felt that anyone knew of his temper, and it was up to them to keep him from having to lose it.

In 2007 Chef Ramsay earned the evil eye PETA dishes out, and they can hold their own. The Daily Mail reported that in response to an F-Word episode featuring a dish of horse meat, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals dumped a heaping helping of horse manure in front of the foul mouthed chef's venue.

Dishing on Hell's Kitchen and Chef Ramsay started to really get ugly when in 2007 the Times Online reported that Gordon Ramsay was accused of staging kitchen disasters and having hired actors play the roles of cowering chefs for the American version of the vastly popular Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Of course, this could have just been a lot of sour grapes by the general manager who got the sack on Ramsay's advice.

Viewers gobble up whatever Hell's Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay dish up, causing TV by the Numbers to state in 2008 that "for the week of June 9-15, Fox's Hell's Kitchen topped al [sic] broadcast shows in audience % gain."

Since I usually have the offspring watching TV with me, I think I will pass on expletive laden TV fare and instead search for reruns of Alton Brown'sGood Eats or the tried and true Iron Chef ... no, the original version, not the American knock off.
