My friend and his wife threw a wedding reception here 2 summers ago.  The menu was more difficult than it needed to be to order a shrimp salad.  Some of the shrimps were burnt around the edges.

I'll cut to the chase.  A couple of days later, I threw up and was freaked out that I might be "in the family way."  Then my newly-married friend asked me a day or two after that if I got sick.  I told him "yes."  He said a few of his other friends who'd gone to the same reception had also gotten sick.  Yup, we got food poisoning.  Apparently, the incubation period can be a couple of days.

I got burned by Yelpers on this place. I think a few might be groupies of Sebastian who is very outgoing and has a friendly warm personality. But when you look at fellow Yelpers and they rate Yamashiro as outstanding you know to question their taste..

So on with it..

It's nearby to home and have been dying to find a casual place for dinner that is good. I have been three times so I feel I got a good taste of what the place is about. Pizzas are good but the fries are weak at best, every time they where soggy and not all that tasty.

The worst thing has got to be the service. First time Sebastian and his wife where there and service was slow but passable and the food decent. Second two times neither of them were present and the quality of food suffered but the service was downright insulting. The staff could have cared less that they had customers even though they were dead.

Stay away unless of course Ramsay has had a good impact on them.. But then again I think Sebastian has been quoted as saying Ramsay does not know anything about the restaurant business, funny.

hello this is Sebastian the owner and chef at Sebastians so many friends that are chefs told me never reply to peoples coments on review sites because they said half of them have no clue what they are talking about. I dissagree i think the people who suport my restaurant should speak thier minds. In this buissness you are never going to please everyone but all we can do is try. Some people don't have a clue and others are just mad at life no matter what. As far as the comments made by SHIN P i have been open for three years and not only have i had an A letter grade but we have had more than once scored a perfect hundred and i remember your friends party and matter of fact they sent me an email a few days later telling me what a great time all of thier guest had. STEPHEN B said that his fries were soggy and he wasn't impresed it is impossible for the fries we use to come out soggy and from what i read of all your reviews it sounds like your one of those people i spoke about at the begining of this response.

Hi everyone!
 
On Wednesday, November 7, Sebastian's was open for business for three
years.  That night, we celebrated with over 200 of our most loyal guests
and friends while viewing our Kitchen Nightmares episode.  The night was
filled with some fantastic new dishes, lots of laughs and plenty of
media coverage.  We hope those of you who have enjoyed our restaurant
over the years, but were not with us that evening, realize that
everything you see on television isn't true.  Sebastian and I insist on
high-quality food, service and ambiance.  That said, we want to assure
you we put out the best and freshest product we can.  And we DON'T own a
microwave!  And we DO make our pizza dough fresh!  And Sebastian is NOT
a lunatic!
 
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued
support as we head into another year of business.  We wouldn't be
Sebastian's without all of you, and we can't continue to grow without
your referrals!  We ask that you tell a few friends and have them tell a
few friends and so on and so on!  Oh, and if you haven't booked your
holiday party, now's the time as the reservations are coming in fast and
furious now.
 
Sebastian and I are supporters of the Wednesday's Child program which
can be seen each Wednesday at 10 pm on Fox 11 news with Christine
Devine.  From now until December 19, anyone who brings in a toy or new
piece of clothing for a boy or girl, will receive 10% off of their
bill.  All items will be donated to Wednesday's Child December 20 in
time for Christmas!

As of January 20th Sebastian's will be closing the doors. We are moving
back to Boston for family reasons. We are grateful and appreciative of
