Gordon Ramsay rains hell on Whitehouse Station eatery for 'Kitchen Nightmares'

Cranky celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay couldn't make it down to Atlantic City last week for the finale party of "Hell's Kitchen," held at the Borgata, where winner Danny Veltri will take over one of the kitchens. But Ramsay was in the Garden State -- he was in Whitehouse Station, helping the Csepi family overhaul their restaurant, Flamango's, for Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares."

"It was hell," confirms Adele Csepi, who says Ramsay scaled down their menu tremendously and did away with the eatery's more upscale offerings. She says they're going to stick with his modifications, which include a name change to The Junction, for at least the next week. No word on when the episode will air.

Ramsay's other recent pitstop in the Garden State didn't bear fruit. After being featured on the show last year, Hannah and Mason's in Cranbury recently shut its doors.
