G'day! I think Gordan Ramsay is FANTASTIC!!! LOVE his I-N-T-E-N-S-I-T-Y, his passion and his drive to succeed!

Am currently up to Season TWO Hell's Kitchen and he gave the potential chefs 30 minutes to prepare a signature dish....

What would you do?

Found it amusing when he said to one of the girls who has prepared JUST a salad....he said it took you 29 minutes to make A SALAD??? LOL!

I would LOVE to meet him one day! He INSPIRES and ENTHALLS ME!

Hey mickeydownunder,

Mr Ramsay is an interesting chap.  I'm intrigued by how many people find him so fascinating -- he always gets a reaction, even from people that rarely watch television.  People either loathe him or like him, which I suppose is what he wants, because he certainly courts the media.

As for the thirty minute test, I'd have do something involving seafood.  What about you?

Also - just thought I'd mention how much I appreciate all the videos posted here.  Where I come from, we're ages behind anything on in the US or the UK, so it's nice to see what everybody's talking about.  Especially the lawsuit and Dillan's. Great site!

Cheers.

I submitted my "suggested" menu to a world acclaimed chef and well, she was less than flattered by what I suggested so think I am back to the drawing board! LOL!

I think I would try something easy, limited to 5-7 items. maybe a pork stir fry (nappa, boykchoy and other less nown vegs but so tasty) or a quick italian speguetti (how do spell this again?(L) with angel pasta and homemade garlic bread.

Can you tell I love cooking too?

For me it would probably be broiled Alaskan wild king salmon topped with an ifusion of artichokes hearts, red onion, sun-dried tomato, lemon zest,  red chili flakes, and fresh basil infused with white balsamic vinagar, chabli, and a hint of vergin olive oil, then for the starch i would do red potatoes with a hint of heavy cream and gorgonzola cheese baked for 2 minutes.

So much to cook so little time,

The reason we all love Ramsey soo much is his PASSION for food.  Plus we secretly smile bigger when he goes off on someone.  The man is a genius!!!

Ok, I would make my special chicken (garlic, honey, teryiaki) nice & tender with a flavorful rice dish, maybe some fresh veggies on the side.
