Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word is searching for the UK's best local restaurant for the next series of the Channel 4 show and wants as many people as possible to put forward their vote.

Restaurateurs are able to vote for their own restaurants but can only do so once.

To qualify, restaurants must be independently owned, have more than 10 seats and two people must be able to eat there for less than £50 each (for two courses and excluding drinks).

All the nominated restaurants will be assessed according to the judging criteria and the best restaurants in each of eight categories will be featured on-screen in the next series of the F Word.

Nominations must be made online by July 17 and nominees will be given the chance to win a seat at the F Word restaurant.

Visit www.channel4.com/food/f-word/nominate to nominate your choice.
